28 Outlaw 1s without a gear reduction.

I have a 2019 Rancher 420 SRA. I just installed a 2 Highlifter lift on the bike. I have a friend of mine willing to give me a set of 28 outlaws but Im afraid they might be too much for the rancher without a gear reduction. I cannot do the gear reduction on it because it will void my warranty. Any advice?

don't go any larger than a VERY light eight 27
ranchers are geared higher than other 4x4 honda
s so, you will NOT be happy with these tires at all!

and just a FYI< LARGE tires can also void a warranty, as they add extra stress to drive train parts, alters gearing and shifts
and are no longer the SIZE the OEM designed the atv around
atv has to work a LOT harder to move them and control them!

so honestly going taller than stock size will VOID a warranty IF a dealer WISHES to do so, MOST turn a blind eye to things
but doesn't mean they cannot if they want to!

First thing Id do is ditch the lift kit before you have rear u joint issues. The 420s really dont like a straight up lift in the rear unless you stretch the swing arm too to lower the u joint angle.

28s your definitely going to need a GR, Id stick with 27s max and even then Ill guarantee youll find mud that will stop them from turning. Some dealers dont like larger tires so it would be wise to put the aftermarket tires on new wheels and keep the stock tires and wheels if it ever needs to go into the shop.

FYI a GR wouldnt void the whole warranty. First of all the dealer likely would never realize it was even there, unless you did a pretty large GR I guess then it would be obvious...but if you ended up having electrical issues or something like that then the warranty would be still valid, just dont expect them to warranty anything drivetrain related.

If you don't like the stock size tires,25's would be a better option.You could go with Mudbugs they make a 25x10x11 for the rear,and 25x8x12 for the front.
That could save you some money using the stock rims.

Mac is right, don’t lift a 420 without a stretch, that rear UJ will bust pretty quickly. In stock form there pretty close to there maximum angle anyway.

You have two options...

Void the warranty, get the tires, a 53% GR and a rear swing arm stretch.

Or... Stick with what you got until the warranty is up.
