im sure they do. im concerned with the running part now, I got the tank burned out, since soemone thought it was a good idea to do a really crapy job of pouring tank sealer in it and not doing it correctly so I got it all burned out now just need to acide treat it and it will be good as new. Oh and get the carb all cleaned out and change the oil and filter.

well were at a crossroads with this unit, he gave me money to buy another atv that runs and drives fine I wont memtion what kind it is yamaha.lol but no matter for 250 he got it and another parts quad. Now here where we are at... should he spend bookoo bucks makign the 350 awesome again or part it out so other 350 owners can keep theres rolling? the motor runs silky smooth just got bad plastic a bad rear rend and the racks are tweeked a bit, awesome wheels and awesome tires and great electrical. He trully wants a 300ex or something similiar (trying to keep him on a honda) let me know what you guys think.

oh believe me I can make it shine again, the plastic is done for, multipul LARGE breaks, peices missing and has entered the brittle death spiral from sitting probably 20+ years in the south GA sun & weather. And I know everythign can be cleaned and refinished etc etc so on and so forth.... time...not an issue...money.... an issue for sure just off the batt there is at least $800+ in parts needed to buy for this (mainly rear end and plastic) and there is no way he can come up with that cash or get away with it from his wife lol. Personaly I would like to see the old girl shine up as well and considered snagging it from him, but im not remotely into any type of utility machine and time is an issue and storing for a long time as well. What ultimately sucks is that even parting it out Ill end up with the left overs wich will just have to be sent to the scrap yard becouse no one will be willing to pay shipping or need.

If it were me, I"d park it in the garage over winter and whenever you get time work on it a little here and a little there. If the engine and electrical are in awesome shape I can't see parting it out. A few months of your time and money and I'm sure you can find a person to give you 2000+ for it. But as a last resort, you could make a good bit of profit with parting it out, for all the little things nobody wants put it all together in a box titled misc. and for a cheap price ship it out to 'em. I'd hate to see any piece of a rare bike go to scrap...

Whatever is currently in one piece... 400 prairie with stuff, 300 fourtrax, 500 sportsman, yz 125...

if you have the time, i'd keep it. hell, offer him a couple hundred bucks and take it off his hands. you've already put lots of work into. why stop now??? its not like it has to be fixed next week, thats why its a project! it'll give you something to do in these boring winter months! keep it man, you'll love it when its done!
