may not look like much now ?, but by the time you pay dealer fee's, taxes, balloon payment, and all that crap ?, that $ 5295 will end up being very close to 8k when all said and done..lol.
Dealer wants to install a warn vantage 3500# winch for $500. Is the vantage discontinued with the pro vantage taking its place? Not sure if they are pushing old stock. Said they don't carry the pro vantage. Should I just do the winch on my own? Is synthetic rope better than cable?
pro vantage is best, to me, rope with roller fairlead is the way to go, yes you should install it yourself. KFI mounting plate, pro vantage 2500S warn winch, KFI roller fairlead, one and done !.
Provantage is my choice as it’s the premium Warn winch. But now they (I think) are outdated? And the new Warn series are the VRX and Axon winches? But I haven’t looked to far into them yet to be honest.
Checking around seems the warn VRX 35 is the one being used now. Is there a problem with having to mount these winches upside down. I know the vantage and pro vantages were too from what I understand. Just not too savvy on this.
Well I made the deal with a Warn VRX 35 installed for $450. Strong made stick stoppers on front installed for $80. 2019 Honda foreman TRX500FM1 $5297. Picking it up Saturday.
