was basically looking at the Fox v2 hybrid racing helmet, both snell & dot approved. What do you think about the fox racing one.

Every helmet I have used but a couple have been Fox. I absolutely love their gear. FYI, Shift and Fox are both made by KBC Helmets.

How good is a Thor brand helmet, before i found this thread I put a small bid on ebay for 1,but if I'm out bidded i'll probably let it go,since I'm interested in the fox helmets, plus since it would be free shipping for the fox helmets, thinking about getting 2 helmets to get the free shipping.Just don't know much about the thor helmet.

Thor makes some great products. I would have no problem using their helmet.

Thanks for posting this! I'm looking for a helmet and was pretty much clueless about dot and snell ratings.
