supposed to get some weather last week. when they said might get some accumulation, i thought, here we go,, 9".. didnt happen. Xplicet, got that snow. come sunday night this week, single digit at night. they say 6F. that ought to be fun. i'd rather have the snow Xplicet got. when it gets that cold, i get too shooting off spark's, when it gets cold.. it wouldnt be so bad if it didnt hurt me. i aint seen many that exceed 3/8", but then, i have to constantly use a water bottle sprayer, on my clothes, to keep the sparks down. when i stay over to me moms, when she aint looking, i spray her carpets, all over her house. i dont know why it dont bother them, when it is like this.. maybe they just dont generate enough electricity to hurt.
static, or kinetic electric, pesters the H out of me during the winter.
one kind of plastic wrap wont work when i touch it, no stick. cling wrap, on the other hand, folds in on itself so bad, i cant use it neither. it wants to stick to me.
well; too much said again by me.

@LedFTed, your story is shocking! Seriously, get a spray can of Static Guard and spray your clothes real good before you put them on. Put your socks on last so you don't create static cling when you slide you feet through your pants legs. You can also spray your furniture with Static Guard! If you use a clothes dryer, get some Bounce fabric sheets and toss 2-3 in each load. If you don't use a dryer then get some fabric softener and add it to the wash along with the detergent.
A humidifier in your house would help to add some moisture back to the air in cold weather. You can also boil some water on the stove but that's won't do as good a job as a humidifier but it's better than nothing.
The last thing is that you have to keep lotion on your skin! Keri lotion is the best and it's expensive because a little bit goes a long way and it will last 24 hours. The cheaper brands have to be applied several times a day.
Let me know if your sparks stop flying.

I hear we might get some snow this weekend in WV. I hope we get slammed but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Lol I installed a set of hand warmers and put on the plow and we didn’t get hardly anything last weekend. I want at least one big one this season.
