West TN. Guess I need to put that in the profile. As for "soon", it will be about 9 months after he got his bull!
Their gestation period is almost identical to humans.

I worked a 24 Friday. We were lucky and most of the heavy rain split us. We only had one call the whole shift. Water got in on an ADT system and set the fire alarm off.

Forest rats eat up my pastures. I have about 8 that bed down on my property every night and see upwards of 25 or 26 at one time on a regular basis. Somebody that loves jerky needs to visit me asap. They aren't afraid. I'm running WFO bushhogging and it's just looking at me all pissed that I'm cutting its lunch.

deer are smart, they learn your NOT a threat and thus, don;'t run from you, but they MIGHT from others
I have hunted a lot of farms over the yrs, where the deer ignored farmers, but if a different truck pulled up, BOOM off they were like a rocket ship!

if you wanted deer gone, a trip to your local gun shop or archery shop, will most likely get you a list of folks wanting access to help you out.
I have known a few farmers that used to ask store owners to get a list of folks names and numbers and then would do like interviews, to find one's he trusted to come and hunt and kill some deer for them
Food for thought for you if you really want some help
another road, is talk to local wardens, most states have CO OP deals where they can get farmers hunters too!, or you can maybe get some farm tags and shoot as needed and donate the meat to a meat bank?

My daughter got her boyfriend a crossbow for Christmas. I may or may not have helped her with ideas.
