Exclamation 87 forutrax 250 utility tires

I have an 87 fourtrax 250, utility version. stock front tires are 22-7-10, what difference would it make if I put 24-10-10 on it? and would I have to use wheel spacers?

If I use spacers on the front, do I use the same size spacers on the rear?

It would be alot harder to turn and would take away power.
