04 Rancher 350 ES CDI Box question

I have determined my CDI box is bad (the large box with the 20 something pin connector under the right rear fender). Two questions:

1) what other model ranchers are interchangable? I am using an 03 CDI and it works for the moment

2)where could I find one at a decent price? anyone have one just laying around?

I must be doing something wrong to get not even a guess.

Anyways, if someone should have the same question, heres the answer.

I have a 04 rancher 350 4x4 es. For my model and others, I found that a CDI box from 2000 to 2006 would work.

I found them for 145 on ebay used, and on bikebandit for 170 something new.

Hope this helps somebody

Just saw this. I am pretty sure you are correct that the 00-06 will work. I would go with new because the price difference isnt very much.
