Trx250x oil leak

Alright guys I have yet another question about my 1987 trx250x. So I was warming it up and went for a ride around my back yard and I had been getting on the throttle a bit but not over revving it. I come back into my garage and park it and I noticed that it was dripping oil from behind the drive sprocket on the motor. Does anyone know what this is? This is still new to me for the most part but I be leave this is not normal.

There is a "C" clip behind the sprocket that holds a small oil seal in place. Maker surer the clip is there if not get one. If it is get a new seal you cam pull it out with a pick.
