Piston sizes to bore etc how to
I have been asked a lot how to figure out what is needed when a piston is replaced as to which size they need :
Good rule of thumb is ....
so if old piston is 75.5mm
old bore hole was 76mm
bore the hole to 10 thousandths over =.25mm

new bore hole - 76.25
so... new piston 76.00
new rings .25

If you can't figure it out, 
rule 1 - drink a beer,
rule 2 - see rule 1 - rinse and repeat
rule 3 - calm down and let it sit - leave it alone
rule 4 - get on here and ask Helmut or Shadetree 
rule 5 - and be nice when you ask.
