Haunted Forest Ride - Oct 19th-21st - ft. Brian Fisher and music from Colt Ford!

Click the image to open in full size.

Howdy everyone! I wanted to drop by and fill everyone in on this year Haunted Forest Ride, which is slated for Oct 19-21 at Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park just east of Pineville, KY. The event has grown tremendously, with approximately 5,000 people at last yearís event. This year, weíre blowing the doors off this thing with an epicly huge event that everyone can enjoy. Brian Fisher of Fisherís ATV World is back again to hang out with fans and get lots of amazing footage for his show on the Outdoor Channel. This yearís event will feature a huge concert that will rock the crowd with a heavy dose of country swag. Act will be announced in next few weeks. The concert is optional and tickets (in form of wristbands) will also serve as a VIP access to the Haunted Trail: people who have them will be able to go through the trail first. Plus, we just got a grant from Yamaha to make tons of killer new wooded trails all over Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park this summer and we will be making their official grand opening at the event.

The Holler Crawlers have been working and planning for months about this yearís event, and we are confident itís going to blow everyone away. We have a ton of things slated for the event; including past favorites such as live music, kidís event area, rock crawling demos, vendors row, ATV costume contest, ATV Prize Raffle, Poker Run, guided ATV rides, and of course the Haunted ATV Trail with all new scenes(Saturday only). Plus, we will have new features such as the grand opening of lots of new wooded trails, mud drags, a ghost walking tour, and two world record attempts: Most ATVs in a Parade and Most UTVs in a Parade.

We want all clubs to band together to help break this record and we plan on honoring all clubs and all people who participate in helping us bring the records back to Kentucky and Appalachia. If we are successful in the record attempts, we will have a sign erected at the main trail head to commemorate every club and every individual who participated. Clubs who bring 5-9 people will have their logo near the bottom of the sign, clubs with 10-19 members who participate will get a medium size logo in the middle, and clubs who bring 20 or more get a large logo at the top of the sign. Underneath the logos we will have the names of every participant for both records. This is our way of saying that its not just about our club; this record is about all our friends in other clubs and saying thanks to them and to everyone who came and participated. Please come and wear your club shirts to the event. We plan on getting many aerial videos and photos that will be seen on the Outdoor Channel and in national publications.

Coolest part: event is free of charge, as is riding on Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park. The only features of the event that cost are the concert, the Poker Run, and purchasing raffle tickets for the ATV prize raffle. More info at Events | Holler Crawlers ATV Club - Bell County, KY

Hope to see everyone down here in Bell County, KY on Oct 19-21!
Any questions, email us at hollercrawlers@hotmail.com

Thanks!

Jon

Hey everyone, wanted to let everyone know we have added Colt Ford as live entertainment for the event! Tickets for the concert will be $15. They will be on sale this Friday, July 20, at 8 AM at Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park

The rest of the event and the riding on the ATV park are still free, you just now have the option of catching a great show and getting VIP access through the Haunted Trail.

Thanks and hope to see everyone there!

Ive not rode HM but I can describe the park for you. Its currently 9,000 acres and about 120 miles of trails. We just got a grant to add a ton of new trails over the next few months.

The park has all kinds of trails, from easy to challenging. We have dozens of ponds to fish in, endless places to primitive camp and a few rain shelters and picnic areas, access to the Cumberland River and Yellow Creek, and its one of the most sceneic places youll go. The top of the park is open, reclaimed strip job that looks like something from out west, with the Cumberland Mountain and Pine Mountain towering on either side of you. Spectacular mountain views in every direction. Then we have trails that lead down into the woods. Have lots of hill climbs on the strip job and TONS of mud holes, including the Mud Bowl which is a large pit with about 30 mudholes in it.

The trails we are adding this summer are more wooded, challenging trails. Currently, about 70% of the trails on the park are green level, which are easy level trails, with the other 30 being somewhat challenging (blue) and challenging (red). The focus on the new trails we are building will be to add more blue level trails and maybe a few red.

Plus its a free park. The event will be great, and its a great time to visit the park. Hope some of yall can make it down!

Checked out your website. Sounds like a great place to ride!
Really like the maps, great addition, especially for a free park. Do you have trail markers too?
