I've run mudlites for years, now, and I've not had any problems with the tread separating, but I don't run the extended lugs or tread. They are 6 ply and they last real well. I've heard a lot of people say that they wouldn't buy the extended lug tires anymore. I can't remember why they said that, though. Might have been because they ride rougher.

You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

I also tied using mudlites for years, i never had a problem with it at all. May be bust be a ware of the expiration date of the tire it might be the reason of threads separating issues.
