Question CDI Box

Is a CDI box worth the money to intall? or will it cause the engine to run too high rpms and lead to engine problems over time?

You will be fine running at 1000 RPM's higher. It also changes the ignition curve. Amazing upgrade.

but will it cause problems for the enigne if you run it too high or can it handle the extra 1,000?

So what about the ignition curve? what does that do?

I think It advances the timing a bit to fire the plug hotter something like that.
