The hot cams mudbuster is designed for more low end power, if you are looking for more power throughout the entire power band look into a web cam (no not one for dirty pictures on the computer) LOL. The Web cam is a little more expensive but from what I've been told it comes with the de-comp, holder and gear already installed. If you go with the mudbuster you must use the stock de-comp and holder meaning you have to remove the gear from the stock cam and if you don't have access to a press, good luck, and you can't buy the oem holder by itself. I hope to have my engine back from the machine shop 2morrow so that I can install the engine next time I get a day off work, I think some time in 2013. LOL. I will post my progress. Oh, and welcome to the forums.

Are you a trail rider, or mud slinger? If you mainly ride mud, then you could probably skip the big bore kit and just do a cam and a gear reduction. But if you're a trailer rider, then the thumper 710 kit will surely deliever plenty of power for the Rinny.

My thoughts exactly, I go balz to the wall from mud hole to mud hole, which is why I went with both. LOL. If I had done a little more research prior to purchase I would have gone with the web cam.

Maybe when my factory warranty is up, I'll get the thumper kit.

I'll post updates as I go to let folks know how I like it. Thumper racing is who I got my BBK from.
