400ex hotcam stg 2 valve lash?????

What do i need to set my valves to with a stage 2 hotcam the directions for the cam said 13 and 15 but i was reading and people had set it to stock lsh and had no problems but im more inclined to follow hotcams instructons.
any help????

I was able to find this...

it's .25 for the exhuast and .20 for the intake.

did that come from hotcams website? i saw that somewhere but hten again the directions for the 400ex stage 2 said .13 and .15 so idk which to use?

Pulled that info off another site. The member had emailed Hot Cams and that was the info he recieved.

okay eell i will email or call tomorrow and see if what the tech department tells me different thant he card that wa in my hotcam box

Everything I read, when people put the lash close to that of stock they get a lot of chatter coming from the valves

yeah i read that. i guess i will go with what the card said but i will deffinetley see what their tech department tellms me. and i think that was good that u posted the forum rules it was a good reminder for us.

i will certainly post that it would be goood to have a permanet thread with all the valve lash info or at least i think so. but would take a while to complete
