New here and Hurtin'
Hello All,
Glad to be a new member here. I'm a total rookie with forums so I hope I can find replies to this post. Has anyone had this issue with their 2007 Honda 420 Rancher (gear shift is on the floor)? I can start it no problem. It will stay running. As soon as I try to ride it, the oil light and fuel injector warning lights come on and shut down the bike. If I'm lucky, I can ride it 40 yards and the same thing happens. It has plenty of clean coolant, and I can hear the air cool motor running when it needs to. It has plenty of engine oil. The air filter is clean. I removed and cleaned/gapped the spark plug. I think it's some kind of automatic shutdown feature to prevent damage. Any ideas? I'm Hurtin'

I think it has a low oil pressure shutdown. Check the wiring for your oil pressure sensor, it may be broken.

Boy do I feel stoopid  The one thing I didn't check turned out to be the problem; loose battery connection! Thanks for you advice.....
