im noobish.. 300ex bogging problems.

im having problems with my 300ex bogging when im goin up hills or in high rpms.
Its also smoking a lil bit in the higher rpms.
Could this just be a dirty carb?
Im sure its never been done. its a 95 model
please help

is the smoke black or blue or even white?sounds to me like your main jet is to rich drop i down 2 sizes and go from there

I'd say a good carb cleaning would be a good place to start!

Welcome to the forums.

Most 4-wheeler problems are caused by a loose nut connecting the handlebars and the seat!!

You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

thanks guys!!
the smoke is white. i got the carb off im going to clean it up 2mrw.. its gunked up all under it on top of my starter and on top of the bottomend. so im guessing it just needs a good cleaning.. I'll let you guys know if it helps
