    Nope no added power. Mine was worked. Rattled like crazy! When I took it off I could notice it was actually ovaled from wear. But it annoyes the crap out of me lol

    You need a motion pro adjustment tool. It is basically a flat tip screw driver that makes a 90 degree angle and has a wire in it so you can turn the end and turn the tip.

    hay my 170 is was way to small so i gto some comeing this week all the way up to 210 there just stock jets not dyno but how the hell do i get the air fual srew with out takein the carb off

    ok will do! Iam just worried the bottom end is going bad. So Iam really hoping its just something in the top! Iam gonna take your advice and run with it! let u know how it works out.. Thank you!

    well thats weird. The only thing pulling the clutch does is remove any drag on the engine. So it is more than likely the timing chain slap. The tensioners on these bikes are crap. They wear out all the time. The only way of knowing for sure would be to use a mechanics stethoscope on it or replace the tensioner and see if it goes away. The fact that it still runs nice and idles good means that your timing hasnt skipped yet but its only a matter of time at this point.

    k..when i pull clutch in the sound gets a little louder and more distinct. the quad runs great..starts right up idles nice.

    k..it seems like its a faster knock but it dosent seem to match the tapping sound from the top. and when i rev the motor the top tap stays but seems like bottom goes away..it dosent get loud and dosent seem to keep pace with the rpm's while reving. but the top sound does mtach the reving rpm's .could the top end sound cause the lower sound? the quad ben well taken care always had amsoil 20-50w oil, oil filter changed..but never had valves adjutsed ect.
