Thanks for getting back to me. I found a company called VIP air that produces a fairing similar to yours. Honda Foreman 450 ES 2004 Yellow HB-04 Model ATV windshield / fairing
Thanks for your devise on my starter/failure situation. I have it on the tender now and I will try it tomorrow. I suspect it is loosing just a small amount of charge as I ride it.
Regardless I will get it started and put a volt meter on it when it is running. If is not 14.2 when running can you suggest a fix?
Hey man I really appreciate your advice. I'm gonna give it a go. I recently downloaded the manual for it so I can look at the schematics and do it right. Thanks
Man I really appreciate your input. I think I'm definitely going with the BCs. Like u I'm not much on a lot of mud riding. It seems the more u keep up on repairs. Where I live I have a lot of trail, rock, and some snow. But thanks again for your help.
Oh and also I noticed a member was asking u about a fan over ride. On my atv I was curious if my fan was doing the job of if I should put a toggle switch on it. I mean it kicks on after about 30min-1hr and kicks on and off after that. I'd it keeping it cool enough or should I wire it to where I could run it constantly or if that'd be too much? Let me know, thanks.
Hey man I've been talking to Manny a lot here lately about my quad and he suggested I get in touch with u. I have a 06 trx400fa rancher and I'm wanting to put 25" Kenda Bearclaws on it and I was wondering if I would have any power loss issues. Also how good of a tire are they? He said you've got the same machine as me and have those kind of tires on it. If u don't mind hit me up and let me know. Thanks
Hi Mel,
Thanks for the input on the fan over-ride ..... Ended up wiring it hot, as the temp-sensor seems to be ka-poot. Will get it wired as you suggest when I get a chance ..... thanks again, Greg
