Hi Bob, get this, I called the dealership on the preload adjustable rear shock, and they said their computer showed that it was the same rear shock on the newer rancher 420's as my 07. Anyways I took mine off today and drove over there in person, and walked in with the shock, and walked the parts guy over to a brand new Rancher ES, and showed him the preload adjuster on the rear shock on the new machine, and showed him mine.lol..Boy they backtrack quick when you prove them wrong, I guess if you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself. It turned out their computer information on part numbers was wrong, and the guy was to lazy to walk out on the floor to check a new machine to see if I was right when I was on the phone..Lazy people, I'm telling you, as it took me going there in person to take care of it...After all of the nonsense they gave me 10% off on the price to cover my gas to driving there.lol., and it should be here in a few days.
