Yeah, the stator is the source coil. Anything else I can help you with, let me know.

    Let me try this again.

This shows you how to check the stator and pickup coil.

Are you sure? It should have two plugs, but one has three wires(if I remember right). The other has 4 wires and two of the wires are for the pickup coil and the other two are for the stator. The plug with three wires is for the charging coils.

It makes the power for the charging system and ignition system. The pick up coil triggers it when to fire. I would check those wires where they come up out of the side cover, first. Follow them to the plug. Unplug the plug. There will be 4 wires. You can check the resistance across the stator and the resistance across the pick up coil at the plug. Two wires are for the stator. The other two are for the pick up coil. All four wires are in the same plug. If that checks out OK, then I would check the ignition coil, primary and secondary coils.

Also, check the wires where they come out of the stator at the side cover. I have seen these wires break a lot and you can't see them with the wire loom over them. You can unplug that plug and check, both the pick up coil and the stator, with an ohm meter. If the wires are broke there, you can replace the pick up coil and stator and it still won't do you any good.

Did you replace the stator with the pickup coil? Did you check the ignition coil? I have a copy of a Warrior repair manual that I can send you if you need it. If you want it, send me a email address and I will send it to you. Also, you might check the wiring where it goes around the frame, right before it reaches the CDI. Some Warriors had a problem with the wiring rubbing the frame the way it was routed. It would wear the insulation off the wires and cause problems.
