yeah i will thanks redracer, I think that I will get a hid head light conversion for it after i get it and then look at getting a skid plate for it for sure, and maybe some nerf bars but I don't know for sure and then that will probably be it for upgrades for a while i think. then i can see how fast i can get it paid off. then i can get a few more upgrades for it maybe.

I highly recommend nerf bars. That is the #1 safety upgrade you can do to your ride. I have seen a guy land wrong and both feet slipped off the pegs, he broke both shins all the way through.

Yes, I recommend starting with a new exhaust. Most companies that make exhaust also make a fuel programmer the comes programmed for their pipe and a new filter. That will save you from having to create your own fuel map.

Carbed machines require jetting for mods to the air system whether it be exhaust or intake. Obviously you can't jet a machine with fuel injection so you need a fuel programmer.

Yeah, definitely do like Red says and get some nerf bars, especially if you are an aggressive rider.

thanks for the help guys i'm looking at some nerf bars right now. so I will either buy a set or make me a set of them out of some square tubing. as for the fuel controller i probably won't be doing any mods to the exhaust or engine until I get use to the power of the 700xx. cause i'm guessing the 700 is going to pull 10x harder than my 250ex ever did so it will take some getting use to the new power and the new clutch. so i will probably hold off on performance mods for a little bit. also is there a set of good nerf bars for the 700 that are under 200 bucks that would be good? thanks so much for your help.

Yeah, you will have much, much, more power with the 700. You'll probably be happy with it without any mods, for a while, anyway.

By the way, in addition to what Red said, those nerf bars will help keep you from getting the tires hung together with other ATVs or climbing over other tires if you ride with someone, side by side. That can be dangerous.
