A-arm extensions

has anyone bought the diamond j a-arm and shock extensions.* i am thinking about doing this and running the 400ex shocks.* if so, are you happy with them and how do they perform?

I have not personally, but I know the shock conversion is the way to go,even if you race.

the a arms extenders are nice but you can also bolt up 400ex a arms and tie rods for around the same off eBay.

good luck but either way you should be happy.

thanks for the advice. i can buy some aftermarket a arms for 400 that are plus 2 from a guy i know. how wide will this make my front end? he has a practically new set of stock 400 shocks also. would this be a good choice or would i be better off with the stock length 400's? i trail ride, don't do much jumping. i want something that will ride good and absorb the bumps. He is asking $350 for the +2 arms, shocks and new tie rods. i just don't know a lot about suspension set ups and need some help.

Buy the +2's.That would make your quad like 6 inches wider. And thats a really good price for all that.
