foreman 450 rear end

Alright guys I got a problem on a 450. I rebuilt the rear diff and changed rear wheel bearings and brake panel bearings. Anyway, when i bolted it all up the axle is really, really hard to turn. I took it back apart so it was just the differential bolted to the swingarm. Its still very hard. What could be the problem?

I just unbolted the diff and took it off. It spins well by hand when I turn it by the pinion joint. It just seems too hard when it's all together. Maybe I'm wrong?
