I run an 08 trx450er on sand and do a lot of drag racing. I had a full hrc kit on and it would fly. Now i know its still low in the numbers as far as hp goes. But I just installed a JE 12.8-1 piston and a full rs-2 comp series Yosh. Should i save up money and buy a big bore later on or go with a port and polish and bigger vavles with a carb bore to boot. What kind of hp difference am i looking at between the two ideas?

i think your on the right track to the P&P and high comp. piston. you will get big gains dude. install a big mm flatslide carb and you will be happy stick.
