94 300

Thinking of going to look at a 94 300 this evening, not 4x4.The guy said he didn't think it was getting fire, although the guy he got it from said he just always kick started it.He said he has only had it for 2 days now and hadn't really had time to look it over much.My big question is what is the major differences between a 94 model and a 98 and would it be worth the $600 OBO.asking price?94 300-3m83pe3ld5y25w55p6b5v1467cf1ab7251c5e.jpg

The only difference is about 4 years of age...They're pretty much identical, except one has a transfer case, and unless it looks/is in brand new condition,it is only worth 200bux non running in my opinion...

It looks nice, has good tires, does it run? Nice racks, does the brakes all work on it? Do the lights work? Is the battery any good? You could always part it out for 600,or more, everything is the same pretty much, and will bolt onto yours..

Yeah, there's very little difference between the '94 and '98. The wiring harness is a little different and the CDI and alarm units won't interchange, but that's about all I can think of. The '94 has a separate alarm unit and CDI and the '98 has the alarm unit built into the CDI.

Most 4-wheeler problems are caused by a loose nut connecting the handlebars and the seat!!

You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

^^^^^^Yeah, what he said^^^^^^.......................Well it was a no go.You would think when someone paints something, they would at-least take the parts off.Everything had been spray painted, motor, racks, diff, rims, part of the frame and the plastic looked like it had been brush painted without anything being took apart. And the wiring, looked like it had been yanked out and a poor attempt at putting it back.Made for a good picture, don't make for a good sale.Never hurts to look though, hope I didn't look like a tire kicker.................lol

The alarm box operates the oil temp light with input from the oil temp switch. It's what turns the oil temp light on for a couple seconds when you turn the key on. If you have the optional fan, it also switches the fan on and off. It basically does what a fan control unit does.
