I was on craigslist and I saw a 2007 honda 400ex, 9.5 hours. When we went and looked at it, MUDDDYY it was, kinda different to me, but we inspected it well and it all looked good. She's very cold blooded, gotta let it warm up for a bit before she'll idol by her self, but from what I read, its normal. Tires still have nipples on them, it cleaned up really nice. 3100 i paid
I'm glad you are happy with it. I actually wanted a 400ex!
As for the "9.5" hours, that is so funny to me. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but it makes me laugh when people put anything in the .5 hour on craigslist on a sport quad. Even anything that unequivocally states 57 hours on the machine. Nearly impossible to say that, without an hour meter installed. How did they come to this number? Well, they made it up!
Don't take it the wrong way, it's not a dig at you, just find it humorous. I too find deals on craigslist. Picked up 3 of mine that way.

Lol, well then, don't I just feel dumb. Good find. My 450er had 10-20 hours on it. I think it was more like 5 or less because the header hadn't even been discolored. It still had factorygrease on the chain.
Yes it is a degreaser but it is also a light lubricant. WD40 actually stands for Water Displacement. It will lubricate, and keep your chain from rusting. Like I said, I would not use it long term but I have used it during races when I have forgotten my chain lube.
It will temporarily, but I highly recommend getting an actual chain lube. It will last a lot longer, and performs better. You will want to lube your chain after every couple of rides, sooner if you hit a lot of water.
Yeah i was just saying IMO but yeah WD water displacement and 40 is the number of times it took them to get the formula correct lol. The more you know lol!
