Question Rancher 350 starting issue

otherwise well running ATV, kinda hesitates to start when cold and only on the first try. ALmost seems like the battery is low, then when I try again, it turns over and starts just fine. too weird. I'm waiting for it not to start sometime when I'm far from home. Any suggestions on where to start looking? (besides the starter itself)

have you load tested the battery? make sure the levels are full first check the voltage, charge if you got to then load test it if it test ok then I would take the starter off and have it tested it's free at most auto parts stores.
