Welcome to the forums. Is your gas cap vent in the "on" position? Also, see what it will do with the gas cap removed. If you still have the problem, pull the gas hose off the carb and see if gas is flowing out freely. Just a few things to try.........

Most 4-wheeler problems are caused by a loose nut connecting the handlebars and the seat!!

You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Did you figure out what the problem was? I have a similar issue with my 250. It idles great but if I push the throttle hard, it wants to go dead. If I just ease on the throttle, it revs fine. I'm thinking maybe it's the Carb?

My 250 recon was doing same thing then i pulled the jets and cleaned them realy good then pulled aie fuel screw and cleaned that jet as well now it will stand up. If its been sitting would be a good idea to replace fuel line this new gas eats up rubber lines like crazy bad and that stuff will kill your carb also use compressed air and blow back into tank fron peckcock this will knock off any gunk that is stopping up peckcock.
