87 250x decompression cable

Went to the dealer today to order a decompression cable and find out its been discontinued and their computers do not show 1 anywhere. They didnt have anything they could find as an aftermarket cable for it either. Does any one make these aftermarket?

Sorry I accidentally posted this in the wrong forum. I tried them if you search by the model it shows discontinued.

Looks like World of Powersports has them too.

Most 4-wheeler problems are caused by a loose nut connecting the handlebars and the seat!!

You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

I had an 90's XR200 dirt bike that the cable broke on. I didn't even notice until I saw the frayed cable. I never fixed it.

Thanks for the replies. I tried world of power sports and a couple others with no luck. They said the only way to get it is to find a dealer with 1 in stock. I will just try removing it and plug the hole. If he can't kick it over then. I found out we can have 1 custom made.
