Wire location for ignition on 1997 300trx
Hi guys, New to the site here I have a 1997 300 TRX 4x4. .Son hit a tree with it ,when he did it knocked the plug loose that goes to the ( I guess thats what you call it) the ignition box .The one with four wires .Problem is when he hit not only did it knock the plug loose it jerked the wire ends out of the plug.So many combinations i figured I could get some help I am pretty sure the Black wire goes in the bottom right space in the plug .because I broke it once before any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick replies. This old thing is a war horse.I just dont want to take a chance of putting the wires in the wrong place and take a chance at screwing something up.(which I have been known to do...LOL)

Yeah I wouldn't try to put them in without knowing where they go. Like Fourtrax said I think Helmut might have the diagram when he gets online.

You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
