Hello everyone. This is Adnoh( aka new to board). I had voted no. I would have voted yes if the question was: should honda make the ER with reverse. At this time I doubt Honda will do nothing of the sort producing two models that is. For Me If I want FI, electric start and reverse I would buy a 700xx untill the time Honda step up and produces two models. I'm a Honda guy thu and thu so I'll wait. I do agree that the suspenion should be reworked from top to bottom. As it is now I still feel it's the best bang for the buck. Who else provides a HRC type kit that can be added for greater preformance avalible to the general public that is backed by MFG. With a inexpensive upgrade to the exhisting shock the 450 can be dialed in for better handling. This of course if not used for a racing application. Just my take on it

The only models that I know of that don't have reverse is the 400EX and thats from about 2002 or 03 and back all the newer models pretty much have reverse

Reverse does nothing for the track rider. Hell in my desert races I have never needed it.

But eventually your gonna ride it again off the track. Arent you? Or do you just race, work on it and keep it in the garage for the next race?

I voted yes on having reverse also. my 2008 250ex has reverse and i love having it. cause i only trail ride on my 250ex and I have to back up from time to time and it would be a huge pain to have to get off the quad and either push it back or try to lift one end around. so i say yes the trx 450r should have reverse I know if it did i would buy the 450r over the 700xx.
