87 250x basketcase build

OK today I bought a Honda 250x basketcase for a few tools I had extras of (100 value) and 100 cash it came with

2 frames
2 sets of front wheels/ tires
One motor
Set of heavily cracked plastics
2 carbs
2 sets of a arms
2 sets of bars
2 mufflers
And some other odds and ends

I think I got a hell of a deal motor has been taken apart but it seams to be in realty good shape the rockers may need to be replacedand needs to be honed

I will have pictures up as soon as my photo bucket app is fun downloading

Will do! As far r plans

Clean a spot and hang some lighting today may even sort threw it a little

But for the bike I'm going to tare every thing g down clans everything and start putting it back together I would Luke a running bike before I start getting into upgraded partsand power coat.

Things I'd like to do to it when its running
New plastics
Power coat everything
Good set of tires / wheels witch my buddy has and would like to sell cheep
May build a new grab bar out of lighter gauge steel or aluminum ( the one on it it to heavy I think if I hit anything with it it would bend the frame)
Upgrade parts on the motor to go faster ( I'll need some advice on that)

I'm sure there will be loads more but that is a good starting list

OK had a little fun today got a lot ripped off the frame I'm wanting to use. I've decided to just paint the frame I may have it power coated down the road. Also picked up a good set of rear wheels and tires for 40 bucks I'm going to look for a good set of front tires but if I can find any cheep I'll just put a tube in them and call it good till I can afford a good set of tires.

OK both frames look to be in great shape but the silver one still has the original stickers so I will cover them when I paint. I did find out the steering shaft was broke and welded up at one point the one on the black frame is in good shape so I will rob that one.

Here is a few more pictures
