Due to plans for the Vacation of a Lifetime! this summer, I finally finished the trailer. I cut off the front end of a Yamaha Blaster ATV so I could use the suspension for the trailer. Then a little welding and I added a box. The box is bolted on so it can be changed out. This particular box has to hold 200 mining stakes and some stuff, so it is 36" x 50" x 12".
I test drove the trailer today with 200 pounds of rocks, up and down some local mountains. What a smooth ride! Love the suspension idea and in case you are interested I have some photos to show the major steps of the build. The main thing of course is to have the front end of an ATV lying around and some 1" x 3/16" angle bar.
