'86' 200sx rear shock problems

I have a 1986 Honda Fourtrax 200sx with a worn out rear shock and have searched the internet for 4 days to find a replacement. I have found only one site and the OEM was $250+ but nothing in an aftermarket shock. Does anyone know where I can find a shock for the 200sx. Dose anyone know the specs for the shock is? The specs on my shock which I think are off do to wear are: eye to eye is 10 3/8” eye hole is 10mm width of eye is 1”. Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

Do you need the whole assembly or just the shock absorber? If you only need the shock,

hondapartshouse.com has them

52410-HB3-003 DAMPER, RR. $157.40

rockymountainatvmc.com has them

52410-HB3-003 DAMPER, RR. $184.69

Well i have a rear shock problem too. will a 2000 honda 300ex rear shock work it has the same 10mm post and its eye to eye is similar? if you look at my picts you will see that i took a 1986 frame cut the front off and modded it to a sand dune buggy frame so its now a 5 speed pusher.. complete rebuild motor. i am hoping the shock i bought will do the trick but if i have to i will also weld any brackets needed to do the job. anyways help
