polaris/bobcat utv

i know this is a honda forum but im wondering what yall think of the polaris ranger 500s or the diesel. i work for a bobcat dealer and we are getting the new bobcat 3400s which are polaris ranger 500s with a facelift. im not a polaris fan at all but am somewhat fascinated with these little boogers, they are very quick and a much improved version of the old utvs we had (club car). we are putting hard cabs on some due to the specs for the customer and the others are getting a roof and turn signals and a beacon and crap like that (its a national rental chain that bought em). so far the mechanics arent impressed much with them but i still get a kick when i get my grubby hands on one!! i think specs are---498cc liquid cooled 1 cyl, H/L range, 1,2,4 wd, EFI, the diesel is a yanmar 3 lung, they also come in a 4 seater and a special one that has an attachment arm on front. on the 1wd its a "turf" mode that only engages i think the right wheel, kinda cool, i guess till it breaks.

Haven't seen one of those yet, Wife and I would like to get a UTV sometime that we can both enjoy at the same time. Polaris Ranger and Yamaha Rhino are looking the most probable. Honda just wants too much for the Big Red and in my opinion they aren't that great looking.

I have not been real impressed with the Rangers. Now if Bob Cat were to completely make one from the ground up I would LOVE to get my hands on one!

I do love the looks of the Rhino they just look good. RZR's look pretty nice too but are way more than a rhino.

UTV around here have been band from many provincial riding places due to the damage they do to the trails. The places now have a weight restriction of 800 lbs I believe. Would love to take one for a spin though.
