From what I've heard they are a pretty solid machine, If it has been mistreated you may have some problems though.

-2007 King Quad 450 (Work Horse)
-1984 Honda TRX200 (Donor)
-1989 Skidoo Mach 1 (Play Toy/Winter Headache)
-1966 Series IIA Land Rover (Major Project)

They're a very solid, capable machine, but some of them have been through the wringer n back, and often times need some minimal work to get them in decent riding shape, plenty of used parts available for them out there...

I actually own an '86 moto4 225 that I bought for 300, then put 700 in repairs into it and it was crap kicked and neglected by the po but I have been running it now for the past few years and sometimes it starts better then my Honda! here is my most recent vid of the old gal in action , I think these are solid old machines but they wont take jumping, or a real beating up , simply because of their age. I used it for a bit of mudding and some hill climbing and plowing the driveway. If it is in good running condition with the high/low range/reverse working well then 300$ is a good buy

Just for future reference if you find one in decent shape-buy it. They are very compareable to the fourtrax 250 in terms of maintenance. My family has had a moto4 225 since new (1985) Not a single problem. just oil changes and valve adjustments. Besides wear and tear items these machines are so simple there are very few things that can go wrong.

I bought one and it is very reliable and worth it but that all depends what it all needs like if it needs a complete engine job

It's good to have a list cause if you buy something and it don't run or needs an overhaul it's nice to have that list.

Superwinch Terra 35/synthetic rope, KFI winch Mount.
