Which boots are best for ATV?

I have two pair of boots I am considering for my TRX700XX and TRX400EX.

Cycle Gear - FOX: 2010 Comp 5 MX Racing Off-Road Motorcycle Boots, BLACK

Cycle Gear - FOX: 2010 Comp 5 Shorty Off-Road Motorcycle Boots, BLACK

Where we ride there is a lot of rock, logs, thick brush (middle Missouri) overall harsh conditions. Need something that will protect my ankles yet give me comfort and flexibility.

These two pair of Fox boots get great reviews. I just don't know if the short version is two short?

Ive got the Fox Comp 5 shorty's and I real like them. They are comfortable and give you plenty of protection and support.

I run the full size ones, I love them. I ride hard though... (harder than most)

I love my Alpinestar tech3's very confortable and affordable, but whatever you get, get the smooth bottom ones if they have big tread you will have trouble sliding your foot on the pegs i had to grind the lugs down on my stars.
