Yeah, if it's in good condition, I would say that's a good price.

Most 4-wheeler problems are caused by a loose nut connecting the handlebars and the seat!!

You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

yea sure is lol, last one i built 1988 very solid and clean, they really come to life in the higher rpms!!. Sold it after a man cased a jump in front of me, I thought he was dead. Long story short i have a 1 year old son, and cant work with broken bones lol. anyway, still trying to decide if im going sport or utility. will post some pics and list of mods etc. when i buy. thanks.

P.s im a sucker for late 80's atc and atv's love me some Tecate's i had a 1985 Tecate 3 that would out run just about anything i put it up against, spanked a 350x on that thing once.

That is a pretty good price but just check all of the bearings and the oil for metal shavings. That is just basic stuff 1200 is high for a project 400ex though if its ridable then go for it.

07 Foreman 500
04 250ex
06 yamaha Wolverine 450
03 recon

A picture is worth a thousand words but assuming the plastic isn't cracked or faded I would jump all over that

if you spanked a atc350x ?..it was either because the guy couldn't ride worth a chit ?..or the bike/motor itself was a peice of crap..and not built/running right !!!..lmfaooo..the atc350x was...and still is in my book..the badest boy on the block for 3 wheelers !!..only one other atc that i can think of right off hand that would smoke a atc350x from honda ?..is the old school 250r's..those damn things are amazing on the rpm band..holly chit !..lol.

2000 400ex

Spent $2000 for mine, a year ago. It had some good mods on it: works front shocks, extended a-arms, nerfs, aftermarket swing arm, extended axle.

Didn't notice the bent rear brake rotor, bent sub-frame, or the slightly bent rear wheels till I got home. Was a bit bummed by that. But after tending to those, (except the rear wheels which I'll take care of when the tires wear out), and a few other minor repairs, she's pretty dependable.
