Check your wiring to the neutral switch. Right side of engine close to bottom behind a little cover. Sometimes the wires break or come loose there...You can ground the wire to the engine and see if it will come on and crank..Could have a bad neutral switch..
Pull inspection plate off on right side footpeg. There will be a pair of wires plugged into sensors on side of motor. Pull those off and ground the one that has "N" on it. If your Neutral light doesnt come on you need to dig more into the wiring harness.
How do I ground it out put a jumper wire on it and run it to a ground and leave everything plugged in but theirs a light blue wire that's thats plugged into the one that has N on it and its only getting 5 volts
the neutral switch, and the rubber boot that has two wires on it has the letter N and R on it, the switches have the same letters stamped on the engine case, sounds like someone reversed the boot ?, because the letter N goes to the neutral switch side, and letter R goes to the reverse switch side.
