What do I have???

I recently inherited a Honda atv. I have looked in vain for any identifying plate on the vehicle. I need to get some repair parts and I need to know the year and model of the thing and I can't find a manufacturer plate anywhere. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I don' have pictures yet. I'll post some if I get the chance. It's red, 4 wheeler w/ 4wheel drive and a winch up front, electric start. Where does Honda place the manufacturer plates on their vehicles?

I'm not sure about all models of honda 4 wheelers. But here's where a 300 is located.

To better help you please answer the following questions that you can:

1. What year make and model do have?
2. Is it two or four wheel drive?
3. Is it a foot shift, thumb shift, automatic with a thumb shift?
4. Can you post a picture of you machine?

Do you know ballpark what year? 1980's 1990's 2000's? What size tires are on it? On the engine cylinder there should be a mark with the displacement, cc's.

All Honda's have the VIN in different places, but in general they are near the front. If it's a 300 I could get the year for you by the egine # up to about 1997.

That's what the picture is for! Add to it don't detract from it, and we can create a simple post to help out! Got any good vin location pictures?

I just added "That you can", better?
