Best Degreaser

I am having a time getting the grease out of the axle tubes on my 450 that I am rebuilding. I tried Purple Power from Auto Zone and it doesn't seem to be cutting it. These tubes have a good bit of mud, dirt, and grease. What degreaser or method would y'all suggest?

Carb cleaner works good for me at work. Also, gas is good to.

Oven cleaner will also take off paint if it is left on too long, but It works really good if you spray it on and let it sit for a minute and spray it off.also if you have graffiti on your car it will take it off too but will not damage the paint if you don't leave it on.I bought a truck that had some advertizing on it so I use the oven cleaner and it came right off.

You can also clean the tubes by soaking a large rag in diesel fuel,running/pushing the rag through from one end to the other several times to break up any petroleum products inside the tubes, spray each tube with that Purple Power degreaser full strength, allow to soak for awhile, pressure wash them out using soap, and water, and they'll be as spotlessly clean inside as they were when new...

i bet mineral spirits would desolve it really quickly. if you ever roof a house and get tar or your fingers...nothing takes it off as fast as mineral spirits.
