I hear this all the time, "dude I was doing 85mph on my quad". Does anyone have any idea how much work it takes to make a quad hit 80mph? My GPS said I did it once, I can't hit it again. 69's quad is the only one on here breaking 80mph.

I don't know as much about the sport quads, because I mostly ride utilities, but I have clocked a 400EX at 74 mph. I don't know if it was stock or not. One of my friends has a 700 Grizzly and it will run 72 mph. That's fast for a utility quad. My Foreman will really move. It will run 45 mph. It might hit close to 50 down a big long hill. LOL.

I think your friend is full of it. I race against DS450's that have the same upgrades as me, They have an extremely hard time pulling away from my quad. They have about 1-2 mph more on top. What mods does he have done?
74 is doable for a 400ex. Not stock but with moderate upgrades.
