The ranger is probably the better of the 2. Im not a kawasaki fan at all, the mules Ive been around were little, underpowered, and not all that great where the ranger is way better imo.

The mule is basically a golf cart, its like comparing apples to oranges... For a utv, go for the ranger....

But, I wouldn't say all kawi autos are gutless, ever ride a brute? They are FUN!!! lol

Whatever is currently in one piece... 400 prairie with stuff, 300 fourtrax, 500 sportsman, yz 125...

Its about as under powered as a golf cart, and rides like one too...lol They are a great work horse, don't think it would do to well in a swamp, if I remember right they sit pretty low, and are heavy...

I would go with the Ranger, too.

Most 4-wheeler problems are caused by a loose nut connecting the handlebars and the seat!!

You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Polaris is king in the sxs market. they have that down, pretty tough to beat a ranger for utility work.
