2007 Honda Foreman

New to the ATV world, have question about 2007 Honda 500cc Fourtrax Foreman, Rubicon with winch, GPS, snowplow, deluxe rumbel seat and weeender rack bag, This ATV has 600 hours on it and appears to be in good shape. Asking price is $6300. Is that high or possibly a good deal?

Geasher, The Foreman is a great machine. However, 600 hours is quite a bit. For that many hours/miles, I would expect to see the price down around $4k. I have found that one of the most important things to look for (or look out for) in a used machine is to see if the previous owner subjected it to deep water and mud. Both of those things will really take their toll on any ATV. Take the seat off of the machine and see what things look like, and how clean it is under the seat and in the engine compartment. Pull out the dipstick and see what (color) the oil looks like. Are the valves noisy or tapping? These things will give you an idea of other things that might not be so obvious. At any rate, a price of over $6k is too much in my opinion. Good Luck.

i just bought a 2012 foreman 500 with ES for about 6500 in Oregon so your price sounds high to me. I got the camo paint job for free but I read it tends to peel off with age so I don't think I got much of a deal there. I did drive 4 hours to the dealer who does the most volume in the NW USA I think.

A cheap winch and base model warn snowplow added about $700 to the deal with me doing the installation. The plow seems to work good with the synthetic rope I bought. I'm waiting for a late snowstorm to get some use out of it this year. I have a little under 2000 feet of paved driveway I need to plow and I spent the first ten years in my house using a snowblower for the driveway. The blower takes about two hours to do the driveway so I hope the cut the time down and increase the fun factor with the ATV.

I have rocky trails to ride in eastern WA and it seems everyone says I need to replace my factory 4 ply tires with six ply tires. I running out of cash and may run with the factory tires until problems persist though. I need to find some riders to go with so I can break my beast in.
