How Do I Know If I Hit My Rev Limiter

I own a 2006 TRX250EX....How do I know if I hit the rev limiter? Does it sputter like it's fuel is being cut off? It seems I feel it most in 1st and 2nd gear. I have a klx110 and don't think I have ever hit the rev limiter on that...

Thanks!!

Should sound like a "Brapapapapap"! Like it's fluttering.

When in doubt, Wind it out!

Yeah, the Braaaaaaap is a typical description of a two stroker. Not sure if the "wawawawa" would be right though either. How about "Bupupupupup"? Hmmm, new thread possibilities. Sound effects!

Welcome to the forums. Yeah, it sputters/surges.

Most 4-wheeler problems are caused by a loose nut connecting the handlebars and the seat!!

You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

To the OP: Watch the video below. From about 3-6 seconds, you can hear the Recon hit the rev limiter.
