2004 honda 650 rincon

Hello guys,

I really need your help. I just purchased a honda 650 rincon, 4x4 es. The problem is, it can start but barely runs. i thougth it might be due to bad water pump apparently it's not. I cleaned the carb. but still the same. it just does not run good at all. as soon as i put some gas on it, she tries to stall rite away. please help me!

Welcome to the forums,free downloadable manuals in the Schematics/Manuals section in here...Are you sure that the carb is set properly???Did you clean the petcock also?? Pull the fuel line off the carb,turn petcock on to see if it is freely slowing gas 1st...Have you changed the spark plug lately??

Welcome to the forums. Sounds like a carb problem to me too, but I would check the compression, also.

Most 4-wheeler problems are caused by a loose nut connecting the handlebars and the seat!!

You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Welcome from the Volunteer state. X3 on the carb. Also check your screen inside the tank to make sure it isn't clogged or rusted.

I bought the 2004 650 Rincon in May and the first thing I had to do to get it running was clean the carb. Ran great after that.
