450r recall?

does anyone know how i can find out if my R needs to go in for this recall or not?

2008 TRX450er
Opened air box a bit/#128 main/Drilled out T breather/Spark arestor out/BlingStar prostar nerf bars/AC bumper/ELKA shocks/GT Thunder linkage/hyperco rear spring/high flow rear shock piston & revalve/running on GBC X-REX fronts & GBC GROUND BUSTER 2'S/ONE CRAZY MOFO ON THE THROTTLE

Like said above, I believe it would be a honda dealership.

The dealer should be able to tell if there has been a recall done to the machine by VIN number

It's on all 2008 450er's I believe. Its the auto decomp that is the issue. Not sure on the plain r's though. Go to trx450r.org. They have several threads on it.

Yes, Decompression Pin is the recall causing No start condition. It's not on their site, I found it on TRX450r.org. There is a TSB on 06 07 models too for a starter reduction gear problem. You can call Honda Powersports in California. 866-784-1870, They are on Pacific time, so 11:30 EST they open up. They will get your name and mailing address and update their records so that you are the new owner on file. Any TSB's can be searched by your VIN (by Honda).

OK so i decided to jump on Honda man site and call them. well the guy said that the work was done February15th and i picked it up march 3rd!! the guy put it in the shop right before i bought it!! this deal keeps getting better and better! i am glad i don't have to have any down time on the quad!
