The sheer depth of the snow isn't really too impressive....we have probably 28 inches at the deep spots. We got about 30 inches in December, but this snow is wet and heavy. The snow in December was like dust and it has compressed by the next day down to about half the depth. Not this one. The temp dropped into the teens and single digits and it's turned into a brick.
We have a metal roof and 7 inch commercial gutters. Yesterday the gutters on the back came off, and shortly thereafter an avalanche of snow came off the roof and buried the back doors. It tore all the snow birds off the roof as the 25 inch sheet of water came down.
Gives you an appreciation of what a real avalanche can do. This was a major storm for an area not used to big snows.

I couldn't get it to start up onto the snow. The ski's just sunk. It's a 1972 not the best. The newer sleds cruise up on top. These sunk.

It's a 72 Kawasaki Snowjet 340.It was made right after kawi bought snowjet out.It was actually still made by snowjet's manufacturing. And it had a yamaha engine. Now it has a 300cc yamaha.

Were supposed to get another 6-10 inches of snow starting tomorrow so I was opening up our paths a little better with the snow blower and I was getting covered in snow and it melted and refroze and look what happened.
