WARN RT15 winch ??
I was at bass pro shop the other day and noticed they sell warn and superwinch winches, the rt25 was 300 and the super was like 169. Ive sorta contemplating looking into a winch, not that I ''need'' one but sometimes would be nice to have, it would be used mainly for trail clearing as every now and then I come across downed trees on the trail and either have to avoid them or try pull it. What Im wondering is would the warn rt15 be a good choice for a light duty use winch, I dont need to pull a truck up the side of a cliff so I dont need or want a monstrosity sized winch and thats part of the reason why I havent bought one yet. Any opinions are welcomed since yall have winches and I dont.

Ok thanks. Its not a top priority by any means and prolly wait a while, just wondering if the warn price is worth it..

everyone has different experiences with them. with that being said, and this is no joke, EVERYONE that i ride/ridden with that has a warn has never let them down.........well, i take that back, one time a guy got his spool wrapped around the freespool/spool selector and it winch'd down and tore that thing apart. other then that they have been trouble free. its worth the extra dough in my opinion.

Ok cool. Ive always heard warn is great, dont get anything but warn but the price on them is high and I didnt want to shell out 300 clams for something that wasnt a good well built built unit.

Oh ok thanks guys. I just bought a moose bumper so the winch is gonna have to wait a while if I decide to get one.
